The White Rose Project Explained

2018 marked the 75th anniversary of the first White Rose trials. The White Rose Project is working to commemorate this event and to raise awareness in the UK of this aspect of modern German history. The project was launched in October 2018 with an exhibition in the Taylor Institution at the University of Oxford. In addition, we decided to commission a new translation of the White Rose leaflets to be published alongside the original German. This volume of the Taylorian Treasures series will include contributions by experts on the White Rose. It will be launched in June 2019. An exhibition on the resistance group’s leaflets will open at the Bodleian Library’s Proscholium in May 2019.
